| March 2008 Have you ever gone behind the scenes…? You know…seeing all the people and things it takes to make an event happen. The kind of stuff the audience never sees. Unloading equipment at odd hours, calculating kilowatts, stacking amplifiers…connecting lights, speakers, cameras, monitors, and computers…it’s all necessary to produce an event. But, when the staff from Outside the Box rolls into an arena, it’s like a precision performance unfolds…linking the mechanical with the spiritual. It’s an incredible thing to witness. With this link, environment and ministry become balanced. Communication is effective. Ministry happens! The staff at Outside the Box Ministries works on the cutting edge…inventing and implementing creative experiences that connect today’s students with Jesus Christ. And they will do this at least 40 times this year…reaching a quarter million students! My best friend went with me to the conference in Lincoln and one of the most memorable moments of my life was when he turned to my stepfather and said “I’ve decided to follow Christ.” ALEX, STUDENT IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA When Rolly and Sandy Richert founded Outside the Box Ministries in 1999, their passion was to produce events to enhance local and national youth ministries…telling students about Jesus Christ. Making money was simply not their motivation. According to Rolly, they chose not to charge what it would actually cost to produce an event. It was their conviction from the start that they remain affordable to youth ministries. But, as costs to produce these events go up, the need for ministry support has gone up, too. I write you today asking for your help. Would you give $50, $200, or even $500 for this ministry? Just wanted to say thank you to all of the great people behind the scenes. It is so good to see people reaching out to teenagers in such a mighty and professional way! MALINA, YOUTH WORKER FROM ST. LOUIS Go behind the scenes with us and be a part of one of the most unique youth ministries in the country. Your financial and prayer support are so important to us. Thank you. Remember, our mission is to tell students about Jesus, His love, forgiveness, and grace. Will you help us? For you convenience, you may now make a donation online. I’ve got to tell you I’m so encouraged to have you guys on this project. If I was starting this conference without you, it just wouldn’t get done right. Looking forward to see what comes together. Thanks so much for all you do! RICK, CONFERENCE PLANNER FROM ARKANSAS |
